My battle with cancer for the past 8 months has not been easy. From decisions about my treatment options, to dealing with all the physical and emotional pain. When first diagnosed 2 years ago I thought this nightmare was something that would go away, but little did I know I would be faced with a death sentence. In April of 2008 I had a parotidectecmy which consist of having a malignant tumor from my left parotid gland removed. After surgery, I was told by my doctor that surgery was successful and that there were no traces of cancer left, therefore it would not be necessary for me to receive any chemotherapy or radiation. Not needing any chemo or radiation was the best news I heard in a long time! At least this is what I thought at the time.
In January of 2010, after suffering from severe pain in my left hip, I went to the hospital to only find out that I had Metastatic Salivary Gland Cancer. I was devastated! I just knew my life was over. What did I do to deserve this? Why me? But the truth is, why not me. After spending days of feeling hopeless and angry at God, I knew that if I wanted to have a fighting chance, then it was time for me to make some decisions about how I was going to fight back.
Although time was of the essence, I knew that it was necessary to make sure that my family and I choose the right treatment plan for me. After lots of prayer, much research and conversations with doctors, I decided against conventional treatment (chemotherapy and radiation) and decided to go to Tijuana, Mexico to take a more natural healing approach and receive alternative treatment. My wife (who was my fiance at the time), and I left for Tijuana in February 2010 and stayed there for an entire month. We learned so much about the healing of the body, mind and soul as a whole.Healing definitely starts within. For starters, you must first believethat you will be healed. You also have to cleanse yourself from toxins and start putting the good stuff in your body, so that means changing your diet. Cancer cannot survive in an alkaline body filled with oxygen, so the key is to oxygenize the body to kill off cancer cells.
After returning from Tijuana, we decided to incorporate chemotherapy and radiation with the alternative treatment that I am still undergoing. Although I am unsure if my cancer has stabilized, I know that God is a healer and I thank Him for every single day that he allows me to see.
I recently met a gentlemen who was diagnosed with Metastatic Stage 4 Cancer 2 years ago, and was given 3 weeks to 3 months to live, and now has no traces of cancer in his body. This was all from using a machine called PEMF (Pulse Electromagnetic Field Therapy) www.pemf.us. PEMF is a therapy capable of inducing substantial healing even where conventional medicine has failed. Clinical researchers believe that the pulsed signal nudges the chemistry in the body so the healing process may proceed more rapidly.
I met a 29 year old lady who lives in Fort Washington, Maryland (15 miles from me), who currently has Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. After undergoing conventional treatment with not much success, she decided to try PEMF Therapy. Before her therapy, she was barely able to talk or walk. After receiving 6 days of treatment, she was walking and talking and her pain level was reduced.
Of course with this machine there are no guarantees, but neither is there with chemotherapy, radiation or clinical trials. My pastor once told me after returning from Tijuana, Mexico, God will send my healing in a way that I least expect; and who knows, it may be this machine. When you are faced with death, you are just about ready to try any and everything to fight for your life. Well guess what; this is my fight and I am not giving up! I am in the process of trying to raise $20,000 to purchase a PEMF Therapy machine so that I can too have A FIGHTING CHANCE.
